Presentation Tools
AMAZE.COM
A website that I found that I found to be very useful for giving presentations is Amaze.com. It is extremely easy to navigate and makes visually appealing presentations that will catch the idea of any audience member. The options for different layouts given is of great variety, and the transitions between slides creates an effect unlike any other presentation creators that I have found. I personally believe that students would rather use a website such as emaze in place of prezi. |
Standard #8: Instructional Strategies
The teacher understands and uses a variety of instructional strategies to encourage learners to develop deep understanding of content areas and their connections, and to build skills to apply knowledge in meaningful ways. |
Keynote
The application Keynote is a free software that is preinstalled on Apple Computers, however it is also accessible by users who do not necessarily have an Apple Computer through the use of IOS devices, and being available on iCloud.com! Keynote is a lot like Microsoft Powerpoint, but not all the same. I prefer Keynote to other presentation makers due to its simplicity, and elegance; it does exactly what I need it to without giving me more options than I need or want. It allows for different transitions, many awesome sample templates, and insert/play videos directly within the presentation.
